I tried registering but cant receive a confirmation email. I tried logging in, but it says incorrect password. I just need to know how the webshop works? Will it route me to a payment portal where we can enter our credit card details?

Register where? The webshop is just a basic webshop that needs to be adjusted (by programming) to your needs. A sub page for payments has been included, but it's not fuctional. You need to add payment functionality.
